  2. Not really the same thing, but I thought it was a letdown in the first mission impossible in '97 where everyone but Tom Cruise get killed within the first 10 minutes of the film. The rest of the film is fun but but not all that memorable IMO. I thought it was a serviceable action flick but nothing outstanding. They had an all-star cast and I remember being excited to see a complicated plot with an ensemble cast but then within minutes they're all gone. Yeah kind of a disappointment. The whole film is just a showcase for Tom Cruise, and that's not what I was thinking it was going to be going in. I knew he was in a highlighted role but I assumed there would be others in starring roles as well. Ah well. I presume all the sequels are the same, of which I've only seen bits and pieces.

  3.  @Deralinoux  I watched a really good spaghetti Western the other night but oh my GAWD I thought I was gonna have an aneurysm Bec every 5 minutes they had this really hyper dramatic female singer basically narrating what just happened or the themes of the film. My god are they all like this??? Everything in between was great. But good lord- that singing. It was like a drill to the brain. Oh yeah the film's name was Keoma. Great plot, well-done western imo but my god..... Prepare for a LOT of operatic musical narration. It constantly was interrupting the flow of events.

  5. "Now, we wait" is definitely one of my favorite tropes in film 😂 It's just so damn useful and dramatic. Bonus points on the video for the filler stock footage of pretty scenes. If these Men weren't Waiting we couldn't have got that.
