  5. Sounds like the RF decision-makers are doing everything in their power to prevent loss of life especially civilian loss of life and to end this conflict without any further bloodshed or property damage. Zielinski should wise up. It is obvious no Western power is going to come to his aid, certainly not the US, so what does he have to gain by putting out an order for any of his ground forces to continue? He's either being real stupid or naive, I don't know which. They're not going to be able to win this conflict, that should have been obvious before it even started. And if it wasn't then, it sure is heck should be now. Looks like Putin has effectively proved his point so far. And all they wanted was simple neutrality and meeting them halfway on his security concerns; that's all Zielinsky had to do from the beginning. But instead he would rather be the tool of the West, well mainly just the US, cuz I don't think the EU was trying to provoke this the way the US did. I would hope they have better things to do. The US's agenda was always to go after Russia. And of course they're more than happy to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian. our state department sure does love at some proxy wars. At this point if Zelensky has any brains at all he will cut his losses and agree to end the conflict and sit down at the negotiating table with Putin, which is what Putin asked him months and months ago. But I've also heard that Zelinsky is just a figurehead at this point, and that the actual military orders are coming from the Azovs and other Nazi-like elements within the military structure and elsewhere in his government, and that they're the ones who are setting the agenda and basically telling Zelinsky what to do and say. I've even heard that he's been threatened that if he gives one inch to Russia they will basically assassinate him, tho I don't know if it's true or not. Bottom line, if the Azovs want to sacrifice themselves in a fruitless continuation of this conflict with the RF, they can do so, but they have no right to trap others inside with them whether they be other Ukrainian non-nazi average military soldiers or any of the local civilians. Guess they were foolish enough to think that their puppet president in Kiev was going to somehow be able to get NATO forces to come to their aid, not realizing that the rest of Europe has no intention of being drawn into this regional conflict and that the US is only using their fanaticism and brutality and their penchant for violence as a useful pawn as part of a much larger strategy of continuing aggressive provocational moves against Russia. In short, the US was just using them, as they use everybody, and they're foolish to count on it. And now knowing that they have a decision to make- fight to the death or try to come out of this alive. Guess the choice is up to them.

  27. It seems so obvious now that the Azovs and other similar groups are totally, totally the commanding force; the main nfluencing force; and the controlling force within the Ukrainian military now. Nobody wants to see any non-combatants aka civilians on either side be harmed, but for anyone to imply that we should feel sympathy for these unabashed ultra Nazi supporters is just a sad state of affairs- and shame on the Western MSM to consistently try to bury this rather important fact as they are and continue to do. I don't care which country it's from- if a nation's military has been taken over or has become essentially a modern-day Nazi detachment, I support any country who goes against them. We cannot allow something like this to continue to fester and grow in the modern world. These people do great violence and they are stuck on an ideology of hate and misplaced fanaticism, and it is the duty of any decent organization and leadership to oppose such groups and to support any who would take up arms against them. If we could de-radicalize them without violence then by all means we should do so, but clearly in this particular case that seems impossible. It seems way too late for that at this point and now, whether or not we can deprogram any particular Azov soldier, at a minimum we need to bring their reign of tyranny and violence to an end, and for that reason alone but also in addition to others I support Russia in its current venture. Again I respect any persons right to feel pride in their country but what these guys are doing is clearly far more than that. They claim white and national supremacy and use that as an excuse for ethnic cleansing within their own borders (not to mention all the violence during the night of the coup in 2014). Anywhere else they would be considered a domestic terrorist cell out of control. They have the right to feel pride of country, even superiority if they want, but NOT to leap to mass murder, heavy violence, or sustained attacks on local military and civilians. That alone justifies anyone's interference as far as I'm concerned. Should they be allowed to continue another 20 years without any attempts to stop them? Clearly something had to be done, and in addition to the ongoing NATO problem, Moscow chose to act, and I can't blame them for that. I doubt this action was taken lightly. Life is a constant battle of choosing when to act and when not to act. These interlocking situations clearly fall within the justification for action in my mind, and I would think other reasonable people would agree.

  34.  @jeffsartadventure3634  Because people were left high and dry. I live in the US too man. you know how bogus everybody in public office is here. You think they give a s*** about us ordinary nobodies? Of course not. And that goes equally for both parties. The Dems are a little bit better and if it were up to the GOP filth we wouldn't have got a dime, but they also serve the big money and the rest of us don't matter to them. The reason why the lockdowns caused problems here is because our covid relief was deplorable and insufficient, there was basically no relief coming over the hill for people who were put out of business or lost their job because of covid, they were left to swing in the breeze, meanwhile the top 2%, the big corporate sector, got billions in handouts from our federales up in DC. You do understand that don't you? Our govt didn't provide any material and financial support during this process. Anyone who lost their livelihood or business was left to twist in the breeze. Yes there was an eviction moratorium for a while, but those of all been lifted and they were pretty porous even while they were in place. Hundreds of thousands if not millions were unjustly evicted before during and after the moratorium, and it's still going on now even though the news isn't covering it anymore. Of course a lockdown is going to cause harm to people if proper protections aren't put into place by the local state or federal government so that people can be on lockdown. you can't rightly lock people down and then blame those very same people for losing their jobs due to covid and then allow their landlord to evict them which is exactly what has happened all over the United States and it still happening right now. The people in our government local, state, and federal are the most morally bankrupt self-serving trash that could scam people into voting for them. They do NOT care about the bottom 90% and in some cases they don't care about the bottom 99%. They serve the elite and they sell themselves CONSTANTLY. They are 100% for hire to the highest bidder; I mean our government is FOR SALE. They call it lobbying and campaign donations, but what it really is is bribes and GRAFT and dark money and not so dark money. That's just how it works here. This is a banana republic we live in in case you didn't know. What little covid relief and eviction pauses were provided were significantly inadequate to meet the need. that's what brought the harm from the so-called lockdowns we never really even had a true lockdown anyway I mean nobody was stopped from leaving their domicile it was just recommended that people remain at home as much as possible during covid of 2020 and the first half of 2021.

  35.  @techovore  shame on those police! we have insane psycho police here too. You should have seen the response to some portions of the BLM protest in 2020. Rubber bullets should be banned immediately, no debates, no questions. they can maim, they are deadly, and in worst cases they can kill. anyone willing to use rubber bullets directly on another human being should be prosecuted for attempted manslaughter. Whoever manufactures them should be shut down and put out of business permanently. It's disgraceful and vile with these Blue animals get away with. I understand sometimes crowds can get out of control but most of the time it's not that the crowd is being violent that oppressive force is used, it's because a protest or an action by a public group is inconvenient or frustrating to the local state or federal government so they send out the goon squad. People have EVERY right to protest even to get rowdy as long as they aren't spraying bullets everywhere or crossing the line into obvious mayhem. I am sorry that your authorities give those ANIMALS access to crowd torture techniques like rubber bullets which I want to see banned by the UN. Tear gas should likewise be mostly banned, with a few limited exceptions in extreme emergency. Down with violent Pigs and their wanna-be Gestapo tactics. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! They are NOT heroes they are thugs/ criminals / animals/ b***tches/cowards/ punks / trash/ scum/ FILTH. All that. If I hear another idiot say "back the blue" to me I'm going to take a batleth and gut them like a pig (the farm kind). There is NEVER a permissible situation for deliberate and gratuitous violence and brutality from anyone to anyone and when those Pigs do it it's a crime! It's a shame that local governments down under allow them to get away with this kind of behavior. I had hoped WE were the only screwed up barbaric s-hole that had to deal with that.

  49. My govt (the US) just needs to stop. Just stop before it's too late. They're nuts. We have only ONE earth. How long do they think they can keep the nonsense war game going?? Thanks to my govt, I have no doubt WW3 is coming in my lifetime. To think one nation is going to own the whole globe with everyone else in a subordinate status is of course morally wrong, but also just impractical. There's no way that can be kept up over the long term. I guess the people in and near the WH and the Pentagon never think more than ten years in the future. What about 100?? Or 200?? Or 500??? What then??? Are they really stupid enough to think they can extend and logistically support this kind of destabilizing action and violence for another 20 years, much less 50 or 100, like they have the last 80??? There's just no way. Eventually Russia or China or even Europe will say fuck that and I've had enough. I hate for any innocent person to come to an untimely end and of course the whole West will call Putin the evil aggressor right now but who's the true aggressor all across the globe since 1945??? Yes other govts have committed evil acts but who has 800 bases all over the world right now???? And no other nation has more than 20 and most have none?? What's better than shutting the fuck up and seeking peaceful mutually beneficial trade??? I guess the war profit and MIC complex loses out in that scenario I suppose. I guess the bloodthirsty lunatics calling the shots in my govt aren't going to stop until they're either made to or it's too late. Either way, good for Russia about these missiles. If we were them wouldn't we be doing the same thing? Now they have at least some counter to NATOs very cute interceptor seekers. That's additional security for them- and how can I blame any region for taking defensive measures, esp when they've been so consistently targeted by a leading power known for its bloodthirstiness, ruthlessness, and duplicity for many decades??
