After 10 years of watching and learning about situations just such as these and others, I've come to believe without reservation that the govt class in this nation is ruthless, they are amoral, they deserve NO QUARTER when it's time to fight. They are just other people and they usually have no soul and no conscience. It's a shame we can't handle things wild west-style with these people, but at least we can try to ruin them in the courts.

  2. These stories just enrage me. But I need to know about them because we all need to know the type of sociopathy we're up against. In this country the government is just another cartel; just another gang with its ruthless tactics like any other, and they are the enemy of every good person.

  3. I've come to believe and realize that most licensing processes are indeed rackets. I've heard the one in the architectural field is especially egregious. Well think about it, if current licensees are unethical they will want to gatekeep and protect their monopoly on business contracts and advice they can charge for. Very mafia-like. I think there's more enough business to go around and I think they should stop being gangsters and scumbags. There are already civil violations under the FTC call unfair trade practices, this needs to be one of them.

  4. Good for Wayne for speaking up and may he have many more years of sharing his expertise! We should be applauding his generosity of spirit for doing pro bono work. We need more people like that. As usual, shame on the local government gangsters who came after him. They were just trying to cover up for their own incompetence and malfeasance and like truth sociopaths they wanted to shoot the messenger. I wish it were otherwise, but after only ten short years of paying attention and being aware of these situations, I've come to the conclusion that EVERY single person who gets into a position of authority, power, or control in this country is one or more of the following: A sociopath A psychopath A malignant narcissist A natural sadist or a criminal (yes the term criminal is subjective but I think most here will agree in this context) Don't EVER respect these people (I prefer the term other-than-human), don't EVER respect them or fly the flag- I never do and never will (patriotism feels nice but when I analyze it, I find it hollow and pointless and cult-like, and misleading as it implies we have a respectable elite political class to kneel in front of, and even if it were true which of course it isn't, I still wouldn't believe in blind nationalism, we are all equal and government doesn't deserve any special privileges or rights over anyone else) fight them EVERY chance you get. "Government" is just a weasel word for 'yet another organized crime cartel using dirty and ruthless tactics to get what they want and destroy anyone who opposes them'. (As far as ethical government, if one such could ever be created here, which seems entirely doubtful, I think a preferable term would be "public resource management". That connotes much more legitimacy, morality, ethics and public responsibility in my mind then the term we've all come to fall back on "government"... something about that word seems to connote superiority and divine legitimacy in some people's minds and this really bothers me) Local government in Carlsbad CA ruined my father in the 90s after fifteen years of loyal service as a civil engineer. He should have sued but didn't for whatever reason and I was too young at the time to help him. And now I'm sure it's too late, it's been over 20 years. I don't know why anybody respects or trust ANY government persons ANYWHERE, they are just PEOPLE and when it comes to people you are going to get all kinds, from the best to the worst, and this is nowhere more true than in government, (although it's quite clear in that group which part of the human spectrum will predominate). They are certainly NOT special or superior in anyway, ha ha quite the opposite; they are usually not there by merit, but nepotism or bribery or patronage, all illegitimate and unethical means of advancement. So WHEN will people wake up and get off their knees and stop being slaves!??? That's all I want to ask. Here's hoping more in time will.
