Yeah I don't agree with property tax in most cases. Maybe all.
And it's absolutely vile that local officials use lack of payment for property taxes as an excuse to take your home, which is a crime against humanity and the rule of decency.
It is morally repugnant and reprehensible on all levels.
For one it is a grossly unequal exchange, usually by a 10:1 margin or more. What happens in these cases its literally HOME THEFT and FAMILY EVICTION, which is always amoral, unacceptable and vile. But hey, that would make it perfect for the demons who have control here.
We need public funds for public needs and services but there are other ways to provide them than private household property taxes or income taxes.
I have a big problem with the way taxes are assessed in this country in general. I do NOT support 99.8% of current tax law, esp where the top 5% and big business gets infinite breaks and majority of the tax load is placed on average people. This should be the exact reverse.
Also I'm not just comfortable with any govt structure demanding the right to take what you worked for under threat of violence. Is this really fair???? Should a group of people be able to take what is yours by force, regardless of their title? I don't think so. However, if taxes on the 99% were light, nobody would much mind, principles aside. However, taxes on average people AREN'T always light, and this is the main problem.
I support generous public services but all these needs can easily be funded through taxes on big business, the 1% and federal spending, which SHOULD be high but it isn't, as this federal/state gestapo gangster murder cartel doesn't like to help any common citizen. It's a criminal cartel set up to nurture and protect big business and corporate profit by all available means, not the 99%, meaning us. This is another problem.

I don't agree with eminent domain under the vast majority of conditions. There might be one very extreme very unique, very rare case that I might agree with, but I haven't heard it yet.
This is all just take what they want by force by corporation. They don't even have the decency to give proper compensation. They're all just ruthless thieves and common criminals. Occasionally the government will try this for their own reasons, although every time I've seen them try to pull eminent domain they're always acting on behalf of the large corporation- the only group they ever truly serve.
You shouldn't be anywhere on the political Right in this country because if you are you missing the forest for the trees. Government at ALL levels of this country is a sadistic joke on the rest of us. They are nothing but a very well-armed and organized gestapo gangster cartel for corporate power, corporate immunity, and corporate rule. That's who they are, that's why they exist, and if you vote Red or Blue- I said if YOU vote Red OR Blue that's what you're voting for. So DON'T vote Red OR Blue if you don't think that you should be a serf, a slave, an object of possession, a subject, a meaningless peasant with no functional civil rights in a dystopia of ruthless totalitarian corporate rule which is exactly what government at all levels in this country has been enforcing on the rest of us for the past 150+ years.... and sadly succeeding quite well.
I'm a blazing Leftist Socialist Communist because people should ALWAYS come first not corporate profit. The corporations should be treated to the iron fist, because otherwise they'll take that fist and try to shove it right up our ass. Case in point, and there are countless others. Once they get big enough they'll never do right by themselves, never!! They know every politician in this tent strait country is for sale and so they make the proper payments like any good drug lord, or business lord in this case, and carry on with what they were doing before, whether it's land thieving or displacement through aggressive gentrification or mass poisoning or aggressively attempting to put down Labor/employee rights, take your pick. They're ruthless, they're destroyers, they're criminal thieves and more. Are these really the ones who should have absolute power in this country? I should think not.
They need to be heavily controlled and put on a very very short leash so they don't commit the crimes and misconduct that they're so famous for.

The only thing "communist" means to me is that the health of the community, meaning our society as a whole, is the only moral value any governing structure should abide by. Independent businesses are protected and nurtured while big business is controlled so it can't cause harm. Rational individual liberty, individual autonomy and civil freedoms and rights are founding values. Government should exist to manage, organize and provide, not rob, kill or destroy like the devil of the Bible.
Usually it's the Feds that push this land seizure thuggery but not always. Sometimes the state governments get in on it too and occasionally even local ones.
It's just simply wrong. The authorities in this country are ruthless and feel totally entitled to rob, kill, and destroy without a moment's hesitation and to take what they want at any moment. That's what malignant narcopaths feel every waking moment- an absolute malignant outsized entitlement and sense of superiority and grandiosity, and they will never ever feel a moment's remorse to their actions. That's not how sociopaths and narcopaths roll. Remember, they're predators. Predators seek prey. We really do need an absolute overthrow of these animals and some better people of conscience put in, but I despair that I will ever see that happen in my lifetime.
I'm grateful there's at least one organization out there, IFJ, although I'm sure there are others, that are fighting back against the practices these people who are ruthless and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals and have zero respect for other human beings' rights in this country.
