  4. Govt budgets shouldn't and don't need to be balanced that's a common myth. I'll explain more later. I agree the political class is criminal and without a single moral redeeming value - but occasionally a few of them do some decent things, usually out of self-interest but still. Federal programs could eliminate poverty and insecurity overnight, but it won't happen here. Nobody of conscience gets power in the US. Human life doesn't matter here, only the profit margins of Big Business.

  5. I'm having trouble enjoying 'the good wife' because of how elitist, corrupt or semi-corrupt, and high wealth-serving/seeking and corporate-serving everyone is. Inn it's just a fiction but seems pretty accurate to me. So this is what skilled ambitious lawyers do huh??? No wonder the 99% is always fucked. If only money talks, those from the 99% who are in desperate need for legal help won't be able to secure it. When does this end???? When will the needs and rights of the 99% matter?? When will a path to justice be available to everyone regardless of ability to pay?

They can't think rationally on these subjects and choose the same old lifelong criminals to give power to again. Can't win in a country full of ignorant people who love living as slaves under a ruthless big business corporate dictatorship (and endless incarceration). Politicals in this country have a bloodthirst. They enjoy hurting the weak and tearing apart families. Sadism, deprivation and hate are the only public policies in the US.
