Responsible safety responders are one thing, that's all that safety requires and if we had that I wouldn't have a problem with it, but most cops here are not responsible. Also, patrol cops are criminals. Every patrol violates human and civil rights, every single one. Patrols are anti-human dignity. Anytime Street Pigs initiates a hostile contact to a peaceful citizen they're committing a crime.
It's all about control and profit. The blue gestapo just wants to control others and live above the law while doing no work and living off the hard work of others. I've never met a street cop that had an IQ above 5. They're literally brainwashed af. I've talked straight to them in a very polite voice asking to stop what they were doing and at least explain it and hear me out, and was just ignored as if I wasn't there. I grew up in southern Cali, in a bit of a rural area. No major issues that I can recall. Proper sex ed instruction from grade 6 on up, good EC programs, limited dress code, no Pigs on campus (that would have been utterly bizarre), no school security other than like one guy who was also the maintenance man, open campus, no gates, no locker searches that I recall, no major violence, no major gangs, mostly a laid back vibe from start to finish. As for medical needs I'm not sure cuz I don't remember but I'm sure people just kept their devices to themselves and I doubt any teacher would have made an issue about it.

IF an officer can handle it responsibly with the least amount of force necessary and with respect for the people involved, and with an attempt to avoid arrest if at all possible, then I applaud them because that is what is needed. However I'd wager dollars to lawn chairs that rarely happens in this country. I have found It's usually the opposite.
So in my eyes we have structural and unacceptable deep flaws and abuses both in our first response systems and then the rest which is just brazen criminality papered over, ie the prowling of our streets by blue dirtbags looking for victims to arrest for some nonsense, cash bail is DEEPLY evil and incentivizes mass arrests, the traffic racket is immoral and criminal right in front of our eyes but as it generates billions collectively for local counties and they do it with no intention of stopping, and we the People have little power to stop it as it's happening. We do need First Response teams and we can have those, we can also have those who focus on investigating alleged offences, but ANY of the rest of it is pure CRIME and needs to be declared unconstitutional and morally-vile which it obviously is five ways from Sunday.
Presuming that happens which I hope to see in my lifetime, then we are just left with First Response. Having comprehensive quality training and setting high standards for entry and initiating strict accountability measures will ensure that people can count on those who are tasked with first emergency response in this country instead of now when it's literally a death sentence or asking to be abused or treated like less than human being in virtually all cases. Imagine, if you will, an ideal society where every single human being had total human rights guaranteed by law and had complete and total autonomy over their own lives provided they didn't abuse it to cause undue harm to another. A government existed but it was LIMITED and careful not to overstep its bounds. It provided necessary functions in an HONORABLE and ACCOUNTABLE way. Corporations, if they existed at all, were held in heavy check by this government; the individuals rights and the communal good (surprise! I'm a big fat commie don't all shit yourselves now) were the highest values. The State was limited but effective and abjured any semblance of tyranny and if it tried employ any it was quickly hard checked into the next millennium legally or otherwise by the People AND if necessary, overthrown and replaced. Individual dignity and the health of our communities were the highest values embraced by all and those who pursued policies that went against those were stigmatized, discouraged, marginalized, or opposed. Justice was humane and based on an optimistic view of human nature not a pessimistic or negative one. The Earth was respected. Fossil fuels (as much as I love muscle cars as much as the next guy) were history. Energy was clean and freely available.
We CAN get there!!! It starts with a decision to no longer permit State abuses or State violence. Reject the exploitation of the State. Reject the shittiness of ruthless corporate rule and destruction. Reject the tyranny of the red-blue monopoly/duopoly uniparty grifting machine that protects these assholes. Seek external political parties if you're going to vote. Organize. Keep at it, assholes always push back, real change takes time, we probably won't see any of this in our lifetime but it's worth fighting for. People will take up the fight after us and so it goes.
Above all, always demand BETTER! Without demanding better we can never get it. Demand, organize, fight, organize some more, continue demanding, reevaluate, re-strategize, start again- THAT'S how it works!

The problem is in this country is that we have conflated legitimate safety response with criminality and murder-death-kill judge dredd paramilitary-style organized domestic terrorism. These two things have NOTHING whatsoever to do with each other and the need for one certainly not justify the existence of the other.
The former can be fully legitimate while serving a genuine social need, the other is simply a playtime for psychopaths and all Cluster B disordered persons and local thugs.
Nobody should accept a violent psychoterrorist blue gang as normal or necessary and yet how many people in our culture currently do?

YES we need to abolish the street police because they are a death squad/abuse squad/ grand theft squad/ lawless paramilitary cartel gang with no moral purpose and certainly no moral methods. In a free society how is this even partially acceptable? It should never be.
Responsible crime investigation and responsible safety response are genuine functions that sometimes need to be exercised; death squadding, mass racketeering, grand theft, and violence squadding certainly does NOT.
Blue terrorism in this country must end. We MUST stop rewarding evildoers, psychopaths, psychotics and Cluster B predators and evil-lovers with grossly undeserved respect and a great retirement. This is easy to do, and this is what the "abolish the (street) police" movement is all about.
And finally, for the ones who are left, holding them rigidly accountable for each and every misdeed and substantiated incident of misconduct needs to actually occur. This shouldn't be hard to do and yet in this country so far it's been impossible. That is interesting and I think we all know why. We can change this in our lifetime with the right strategy. It starts with pushing ballot measures which list in detail all of the reforms and changes to safety divisions that are needed and pushing these measures aggressively until they pass no matter how long it takes; and then getting more Leftists into political office at all levels. Without that I don't see how this issue can change.
Just remember, the large majority of police officers are not really "people", they're unstable and/or psychotic Cluster B disordered non-humans and they don't deserve to get paid to exercise their disordered mentality and predatory desires, and even when they aren't physically violent they engage in all kinds of civil and human rights violations and many, many theft and extortion rackets (tickets, open asset theft, and tows) from coast to fkg coast. This, plus generalized harassment, causes very real harm to the poor and working class in all municipalities. This can stop being accepted in our society but much more work regarding public awareness is needed.
We eventually abolished slavery, we can abolish Blue slavery and Blue abuse (and mass incarceration) too, it's just going to take a hell of a lot of work. It's just another form of socialized institutionalized injustice and abuse that benefits those at the top and those doing it.
Some human beings are Cluster B. Some human beings enjoy exploiting and abusing and/or stealing from others. We CAN stop this it's just going to take continued action.

Many laws cover for activities which shouldn't be tolerated and are inherently criminal; that abrogate or violate human rights or civil rights, or just common standards of decency. The amoral political class in this country- those elected or who have aspirations to office- want to gaslight the rest of us into accepting Blue subjugation and endless aggressions against our persons and property. Just because they follow the law doesn't mean they're doing what's right. The law tells them they can murder at will, commit mass grand theft, commit stalking, lying in wait, entrapment, harassment, violent non-hostage-related home invasion, general terrorism, intimidation, and anything else they wish to do to citizens that strikes their fancy. This is outrageous and should not be tolerated. However at the the moment it's all legal. The word "legal" means nothing to a genuinely moral person such as myself.
Politicians are an amoral class of people, highly corrupt and always serving themselves. What they deem as legal or not has no standing with me and many others who know what genuine right and wrong is. We oppose their agenda and will continue to oppose it for the rest of our lives. We are United against State violence and Blue violation we are United against the violence and criminal blue gang violating our communities every chance they get.
Even small things they do are unnecessary like strolling through parks at closing time (public property should never have a "closing time") to find homeless to harass and hopefully arrest just for kicks. I've had it happen to me. I wasn't homeless at the time but I was harassed because I wanted to be on public property in the evening. How shocking and dangerous; I enjoy the peacefulness and privacy that comes with the evening hours and I wanted to be outside of my home during this time. How suspicious!! I certainly deserved the third degree and an aggressive disrespectful attitude.
All these Pigs want to do is harm somebody, push somebody around, bully somebody, dominate somebody etc; these are evil sorry people who deserve to be put in a ditch.
I think I deserve to access public property for peaceful means any goddamn time of day I demand. After all that's MY motherfucking taxes supporting that property.
But back to our issue- Legality has nothing to do with morality. Just because a bunch of corrupt bought-and-paid-for filthy worthless political hacks sign their names to something thereby making it a "law" doesn't mean it's in any way morally right or that the majority of citizens agree with it.
Plenty of unjust US laws need to be repealed, and/or just laws created that don't currently exist.
Never make the common mistake equating legality to rightness. Many things have been govt -approved in the past which I would morally oppose. Slavery, unequal rights for women, lack of protections for workers, genocidal policies against the indigenous and so on.
Government is nothing but a group of people with an agenda. It has no more bearing on ethics or uprightness than anything else. Many times that agenda is not ethnically right at all but it serves their interests or the interest of those that they answer to (various special groups).
I doubt your claim that police officers have more degrees on average than an average US citizen. Citation is needed. Most street cops are dumber than a box of rocks that's why they've taken the job. They have no useful skills and they don't want to work for a living. Joining the local organized crime cartel/gang is way easier than working for a living. They're lazy taking bastards that's what it comes down to. I'm sure there are some decent detectives but those on the street are usually crooked and shameless. Either they outright steal through traffic stops (all tickets and non-safety-necessary tows are thefts and open extortion) and/or they seek easy targets to find some flimsy excuse to arrest because we have a mass-arrest-and- cash bail extortion racket going in the US. Cash bail is one of the biggest ongoing rackets and crimes against the American people.

Street Blues are a criminal cartel nothing more. There are essentially modern-day slave patrols and stagecoach robbers. That's exactly what they are. Also, all those who respond to emergency calls but intentionally or unintentionally bungle them should be held aggressively responsible under the law both criminally and civilly. "One strike you're out" should be the motto. That's if citizens' rights actually mattered in this country.

Anything beyond that is an oppression. Investigations can carry on, but should be subject to strict standards and oversight.
