  5.  @b1nary_f1nary  right because for one, dogs can't read. So maybe they can remember where a few basic buttons are at but there's no way they can "read" all those tens of buttons and put them together in a coherent way. Dogs can understand some simple basic commands but I doubt they can understand 50-100 different non-command words and somehow assemble them in their brain and then somehow "read" and press the right button. Maybe a primate or dolphin can, but not a dog.

  8.  @NautilusGuitars  thanks for explaining very articulately exactly my objections to this video, that while very cute, was absolutely bogus insofar as proving any complex language processing skills by the dog. Dogs can do a lot! What they CANNOT do is understand words and abstract concepts the way we do and literally form basic sentences! DOGS DONT THINK IN WORDS! They associate by action and visual or auditory cues and rewards. Oh well. If everyone wants to believe some dogs can do math and invent rockets and do complex surgery and become president let them I guess.

They can get trained to press some buttons on cues from some words of they're trained to, that's it. Anything else is literally wholesale projection- idiots seeing what they want to see "oh look! A dog that understands complete sentences!" Jezus people are dumb and you're dumb af if you believe the dog can form sentences in his head and can READ the buttons and choose the proper ones. There's many super easy ways to fake a video like this. And just use your common sense. There's no way in HELL a dog would understand what word "stranger" means or connect to "a foreign body in my paw". Look I like to believe magical things too. Then I wake up.
