I read about a woman who visited New York City from Denmark and I guess she figured during the daytime it was okay to leave her baby right outside an eatery she stopped in to get lunch, and apparently some asshole cop came up went inside demanding to know if anyone knew anything about the baby outside. She came out of course saying that it was hers and that she was just leaving it there while she was inside eating and she had her eyes on it the whole time. Apparently he proceeded to charge her with child endangerment and I think she had to spend one night in jail or she was remanded into custody for a few hours. Or possibly she was in jail all weekend until she went to court again on Monday. I don't remember exactly. But it's just too bad that this innocent woman who was just having a pleasant afternoon and didn't know she was doing anything wrong, or anything that would alarm others and was treated like a first-rate criminal. Everything got resolved, but it was totally unnecessary for her to have been arrested or charged with anything. She either had a very annoying couple of hours or a very unpleasant weekend. And if she did still weekend and that meant that they would have had to take her infant into foster care temporarily, all totally unnecessary. I'm sure she was a very attentive loving mother just acting in a way that is totally normal and approved of where she grew up. Just goes to show all the people who don't live here, be glad. I'm not saying there aren't nice places here and nice people, they're certainly is but the problem is the Pigs. Not everywhere, but a lot of places sadly our streets are crawling with these animals. I can't tell you how much I hate it. Sometimes it makes me feel like I'm living in a fascist s-hole. The police in this place are absolute thugs and scumbags and they will go after you for anything they can. Especially if you're not white but sometimes even if you are it doesn't matter. Depending on where you go the Pigs are everywhere. Especially New York City. It doesn't mean you're necessary going to be harassed because again it's all random. You just never know if they're going to bother you and some Pigs are worse than others. They're ALL bad here but some are more aggressive and abusive than others so you might be lucky and get one that's not too bad and not a total fuckrod or you might be unlucky and get the type of Pig that this woman had to deal with. Unfortunately a lot it's just random.

Other than seeing-eye or emotional-support type animals I don't think I've seen dogs taken into or near the malls around here, or stores in general. But I love the idea of being able to take them with you and keep them safely outside while you're shopping or doing whatever.

You know, like they do everywhere in the US. The US is a totally Gestapo-fash-infested state because mass Incarceration and mass menacing by Pigs has been most counties' policy for at least 40 years. Why?? Some of its due to hatefulness and racism, but also because even tho it costs billions upon billions to maintain this evil Gestapo prison-state, it also makes certain interests huge profits and provides endless job security to prison guards and local Pigs who no doubt wouldn't be able to get a job anywhere else, because as long as you're breathing and can speak, you can get a job as a Pig in the US. The training is 6 months tops and in some cases you don't even have to And after this you get a gun and you're put on the streets and given a patrol route. You're supposed to try to arrest as MANY people as you can and steal as MUCH as you can from your community, because after all most of that money that comes in from tickets, car thefts (tows), and bail (bail is everywhere), goes right back into the budgets of the local PD or sheriff's department and eventually into these criminals' paychecks. And bail-extorting is a mega-billion-dollar industry in this country. Policing in the US is a ruthless profit-making PONZI scheme. It also serves to keep the local jails full (again more bail = More profit for the county, so it's basically like ransom money) and keep the state prisons likewise full. Again, the stated policy from even the federal govt since 1981 has been Mass Incarceration and it's only getting worse. If Denmark doesn't do this, and I know it doesn't, than I'm really happy for you guys. I'm not saying it's all bad here, so long as the Pigs stay out of your life it's not; but the systems of DELIBERATE violence and oppression are GROSS.
