  14. I think it's a great idea. The point is to give people options. I think small garages should be included just for the extra storage and use space but other than that I love the idea. Not having huge parking lots and drive Lanes does indeed free up space for more human interaction and alternative use. No one's forced to move here and it's not like this is going to take over every square foot of our communities with nothing else available. It's just an alternative and I hope to see a lot more of these. Right now I drive and I like having access to my car but I definitely support the positive urbanism movement and I want to see it spread. The truth is over the last 60 years we have destroyed so much for the automobile and once you really start learning the facts it's very depressing. To this day our downtown's in many places are greatly hampered by the legacy of being almost half destroyed for literally to build flat voids, AKA parking lots. Wonderful neighborhoods cut right in half and a 10th to a third paved ride over. Cities and the federal government didn't care when they were building these. They rationalize them as a public need. Well it is my opinion that they are NOT. I'm not here to take with anyone's car who wants one I'm just here to provide alternatives. I hope the new positive green urbanism movement catches on and is here to stay. With bulldogs enough for the car it's time to push the car back closer to the margins. Not get rid of it, just relegate it to its proper role, in my opinion.
