I can't believe after 150 years the real savages who run Calfire don't understand or don't want to use controlled burning. I have zero connection to the fire-control industry or field and yet I know about it. I've always known about it. It's common fucking knowledge. I knew about it in the 80s when I was a freaking kid for fucks' sake. I guess they want this entire state to burn down to rubble. This beautiful incredible state, how much has been lost already to ignorance and Malice of those in charge???? I don't even want to think about it. Ironically the town of Paradise is no more, thanks in part to a lack of controlled burning. These people make me sick. California was a special paradise, until all the corrupt groups took it over. I don't even think it's ignorance at anymore. I think it's intentional maliciousness. These ignorant filthy fucks clearly hate the place they're supposed to protect and manage. Guess we shouldn't have treated all the indigenous like criminals for wanting to exist and taken everything away from them and turned them into slaves on their own land. #landback #reparationsnow

@b_uppy boy are you 100% wrong. Indigenous have used control burns for thousands of years. Pretty sure during that time they would have stopped doing it at some point if it hadn't been helpful. Control burning done right is actually very good for the ecosystem. Don't speak out of ignorance please. Its really annoying.

Thank you for this educated and enlightened comment. You are so right. We are in identical situations. I live in California. What the white authorities have done to this state sickens me. I'm not indigenous, but I respect indigenous knowledge and their rights as well as common fucking sense. Fires keep getting worse in California nobody changes anything. I guess they hate this state and they want it all to burn away. Right now it's enraging it's depressing and if something doesn't change soon I don't know where this is going to end. It's absolutely appalling
