@l.b.7543 Socialism means controlling corporations or outlawing them outright. I support either. There's nothing wrong with business up to a certain point, after that it becomes a problem.

@kevinperry581 I don't think that's the problem here. And if it was, how could the small farmer and ranchers be the reason for oversaturation and not the giant mega-corps? You sure you don't work for one of the Big Four?? And you don't think corporate mega-consolidation is responsible for this?

@kevinperry581 I find it hard to believe the beef market could ever be saturated. Everyone wants beef. Well, everyone who's not against eating meat. That is not the problem, I believe. As usual, it's due a mega-corporate takeover. Corporations are always the problem, they always have been and until they're crushed they always will be. Big Business has always bought the US govt going back to to the days of the industrialists and the robber barons and by doing so has tried to destroy the medium and little guy along the way, and it continues today. Until we crush the power of the big business cartel savages in this country, who's only credo is infinite greed and will destroy ANYTHING in service that goal, the rest of us will suffer. We already do, in many ways. It happens across every industry everywhere you look. In my eyes, corporations are pure cancer. Not all businesses, just Big Business.

If everything is so free and fair why are families like the one profiled in this segment on the verge of going under? How do I know you're not from one of the "big four" trying to do counter-propaganda right now? According to you, there are too many beef farmers overall, both small and corporate- is that what you are claiming?

@kevinperry581 maybe corporate farmers do. I don't see small farmers getting anything. And if all beef farmers get special subsidies, why is this man struggling? And you didn't answer my question, how do I know you're not from one of the big four?

And that's why people need to understand that currently the State is evil and hates you. Leftists, socialists and communists want to change this. This is why I'm a fire- breathing communist. Thank you for this reminder Regina. I will really try to! I think it's so important to try to support small and regional businesses. Without customers they won't be able to maintain themselves. At this point in my life I'm completely against corporations, and all their dirty tricks. As a now-flaming commie, I will be fighting against them the rest of my life. There has got to be a limit to business conduct and size. This is one of my major political principles now.

Right now the entire government apparatus in the US obeys Wall Street. They're owned by the big boys plain and simple. Always have been with limited exception. @MrMcguire89 well I want to vastly expand the public sector. Maybe in time you'll come to see why that's a good thing. All we need is more public oversight over policymaking. I agree we can probably represent our interests better than any corrupt big business-owned politician. I agree with you, taking power of the hands of corrupt politicians is the first step and something we should all be focusing on. We all should be demanding is more direct control over policy, this means more direct democracy and more voting over ALL policies. This means the public has final say over most laws and most most proposed policies from the federal to the state to the local. I mean I've done a lot of thinking about this this, isn't my first day thinking about these. I've already enumerated in great detail all the reforms and changes I want to see in our legal system, in the penal system, and in the public policy zone.

@01abihsot some do tho right? Fyi if you're struggling to afford food, not to assume your personal business, but please don't be shy about going down and getting your food stamps. I can't believe I have to say this but we live in wacky times but YOU DESERVE TO EAT AND EAT HEALTHFULLY. Go get your stamps if you need them and don't tell them you own a car. Sometimes it might be used against you- depends on how screwy your local welfare office is. It varies from place to place. Go get that assistance if you need it. And if you mess up on the application you can reapply after 30 days with new information. Just a tip.

@christinamoneyhan5688 yes this happens sadly. The current filth in the federal and state agencies are proudly psychopathic and ruthless, on the hunt for any small operators they can destroy. They work for Big Business and are definitely evil to their core. They deserve death. Its easy when you have the big money to hire a few dozen psychopaths to be your economic hit men in state and federal govt. They already maintain actual hit men, both privately and by supporting the maintenance of a violent and out-of-control lawless Police State, not to mention supporting the use of the CIA around the world (essentially international hit men for major corporate interests), why wouldn't they do it with local, state and federal govt suits??? I'm not sure exactly how to stop this but I know there has to be a way. They're savages - and their campaigns of destruction against the little guy happen across all industries- not just food. It happens even at a local level now. I believe it's happening near me. What they do should be illegal. It's absolutely felonious, evil and criminal. Intentionally attempting to destroy a private business via unjustified, intentionally harmful and unnecessary forced compliance or other unfair regulation should be a major felony - with ten years minimum in prison for a conviction. Maybe soon it can be. Those who do these kinds of acts deserve only pain and death. I'm well aware of their soullessness and inhumanity and I'm trying to come up with a good solution to it.

But that still wouldn't stop new big business-serving govt thugs from coming forward to continue the coordinated assault on the little guy in every industry. For that we need a coordinated plan of our own and I'm working on that because I'm well aware of these things and I've been on it for about a year now. Everyone should do their best to shop for food outside of the major corporate brands. It really does matter. I know it may not always be possible but if we can minimize giving our dollars to these people, and try to support only small and local farmers, it will make a big difference. Yeah corporations really are evil. They cheat and scam everyone but the very top executives and shareholders. I would like to see them outlawed.

Of course as a flaming communist I'm for Labor rights and Labor control, and we can have all that, as we should, and we can also allow for a fair and well-regulated private sector to thrive but I don't think there's a place for large corporations in a fair global order, I really do not. I think we need to set a cutoff right now, say 5000 employees tops. If we prevent businesses from consolidating too much and growing too large, we won't have this problem.
