  1. The problem is also simply corporate farming. Until we have strict limitations on the conduct and the size of large-scale corporate held farming tracts were still going to have this problem. There should be a relatively low upper limit for how many acres a single corporation or umbrella corporation can hold.

I agree with him on quite a few things but he definitely has no chance. Forget about the federal level that's gone. That's a corporate protection racket. We got to focus on our individual states & our local counties and municipalities. We have to get organized and try there. That's where we have the best chance at making positive change.

"Legal" just means that whoever controls the ballot or whoever is in a particular political authority deemed something to be "ok" or "not ok". In short laws are just the preference of those who vote on them, usually a political body. It doesn't mean they're the morally right thing, it just means that those politicians choose to say that particular practice is okay. Politicians are bought and paid for in this country and probably most others. If you trust a mainstream politician you're a fool. In this country they serve the large corporations, not us. I don't agree with that. And it's time to change that. I don't respect any laws that go against my values and you shouldn't either. Right and wrong are simply matters of opinion when you come down to it. There's always going to be conflict because people believe in different things. That's where conflict in human society comes from. Anyhow if you think corporations are the victim I don't know what to tell you... That's definitely not true lol. In their never-ending quest for more money they harm or destroy everything in their path. They're like locusts, consuming everything in their way with an all-consuming single-mindedness. They only care about themselves. They should be limited and controlled.

Last in line for local water use after local small farmers; must pay fair market rate or better for all local water use, bans on harmful pesticides ie glyphosate; minimum land area set aside for natural practices (ie 15% total crop area); chemical input limits, natural pest control encouraged, high animal welfare standards for all livestock on corporate animal farms, mandates against animal waste leakage and secure storage with severe financial penalties to be paid to the surrounding locality if violated, animal feed minimum quality standards, no loopholes, minimum standards for free movement of all animals, bans on antibiotic use (creates zombie resistant strains that transfer to humans), minimum grass space and outside access for livestock; sunlight, green space, and free movement requirements for all poultry, strong safety standards for all staff, maximum line speeds, extremely strong farm worker protections, no exploitative business arrangements with small independent farmers/suppliers; etc.. Big corps will never do right by themselves. I wish they would but I've never seen it. Strict regulations allow them to operate but in a way that is not abusive or harmful to the community, workers, animals if applicable, or the general environment.
