Sadly yes. If big business isn't brought to heel, mass poverty and financial insecurity and health crises among average people will only increase. We're living in incredibly dark times right now friends. Be strong. Link together. Organize if you can. It's almost certainly going to get worse before it gets better.

There is something very sick and wrong with the corporate model where the shareholders have ALL the power and respect and the workers and the customers have or are deemed worthy of NONE.

The fact formula is so expensive normally is a crime. It should not be more than $2-4 a can. Pigs in NYC were actually proud they confiscated baby formula from desperate parents caught shoplifting formula from Walmart stores. Everything about this story and the broader reality it represents is so insane, inhumane and wrong on so many levels. The abuse of people in this country by a predatory economic system designed to produce insane and immorally-high profits for those at the very top by fucking over literally EVERYONE else, is at record high levels. NOTHING about that or anything else I've said here is right. Nothing.

@ZentaBon it does. It's a shame becuz it prevents solidarity between the poor and middle class, which harms both, but the poor much more so of course.
