  1. Hypo symptoms can be the worst. I've dealt with them. If synthetic prescription hasn't worked for her, suggest she consider NDT if she hasn't already. There are many great thyroid forums online for more info, I like Stop The Thyroid Madness! and healthunlocked. Just choose the thyroid community once there.

  3. For those who haven't done well on prescription thyroid meds, you may want to consider NDT- natural dessicated thyroid hormone, which is bioidentical to our own hormones and comes from animal sources, usually pig or cow.
