  2. I'm glad they reversed their position. These cars should be allowed on the road. The only way they could possibly be slightly unsafe due to their lightweight and small size would be the driver, and if the owners are willing to assume that risk they should have that right, like with anything else. It's the same principle for those who drive motorcycles or smart cars or any other small vehicle. Let's continue to stand up for everyone's rights of choice. If you're an adult you have the right to assume the risk. As long as it's no greater risk than any other form of transportation to passers-by and amother drivers then it should certainly be allowed. The RMV acted correctly in this case.
