  1. It's so amazing to think of functional humanoids living 1 MILLION years ago on this planet. Considering history as we know it has only been around maybe 10,000 years, this is really mindblowing to me. One wonders if they had a developed language with articulated words and how much they spoke, or if they spoke at all.

I don't know if this video mentioned it but I've heard that Neanderthal actually had somewhat bigger brains than modern humans. It doesn't mean they're necessarily smarter it's just that for whatever reason they were modestly bigger. But neanderthals seemed bigger in general. But regarding brain size I'm sure food abundance has a lot to do with it regardless.

If I was to give you a Harry Potter novel would you say that's proof that magic is real and that kids can ride brooms and that Hogwarts is a real place? No ofc not because it's a book of tales. It's a book of fiction. Just because somebody writes something down doesn't mean it's real. Please know the difference between reality and fantasy. PROOF is being able to see and/or record something in the physical universe. You have the right to believe whatever you want, but don't act like your personal beliefs are proof of anything. There's a big difference between belief and proof.
