What's the alternative to a majority govt??? I live in the US so I only know two mainstream parties who like to portray themselves as polar opposites but in reality are very much the same with the Democrats being overall less odious people and those who occasionally will arrive to vote for something somewhat positive for the average person, but they are very neoliberal, and the Republicans barely try to hide anymore that they are fascists, rank opportunists, and only there to pass tax cuts for the very rich and oppose anything the Democrats try to pass.

Thanks for this! Now I have a better basis of understanding. I think wannabe third-rate fascists are having their resurgence right now, and here in the States I would be highly surprised if our right-wing party, the GOP, didn't take back both houses of Congress in November. Hopefully their reign, and that of all D-list fashie wannabes on this planet, will be short, and afterwards strong Leftists can regroup, fight harder, and win. If they can't win federally, then hopefully they can win locally and regionally.
