  2. I think all representative governance is cursed. The only way to have central management aka govt for the people is to have ACTUAL direct democracy. Dissolve the Senate, have national referenda for anything of consequence. Otherwise the gov is nothing but a plaything and a tool for the very rich and elite business. Period. I don't think ANY small body of "representatives" will ever accurately serve the 90%. Ours is just one of the most skewed and corrupt out of a world of other elite-only-serving "republican" types of faux-democracies.

And the sad thing is, GOVT DOESN'T NEED TO TAX IN ORDER TO SPEND ON ANYTHING- THEY CAN PRINT WHATEVER THEY NEED, AND THE FEARS OF SO-CALLED INFLATION ARE JUST BOGUS PROPAGANDA FROM THE HYPER-CAPITALISTS AND THE RIGHT. Yes this is MMT but it's not a theory- it's OBVIOUS. Taxes are assessed not because the money-issuer needs money (does that make sense?) but because some economists claim they need to remove some currency from the total money supply in order to limit excess inflation. Tbh, I'm not even sure that's necessary. But the point is, THE FED GOVT CAN SPEND MONEY ON ANYTHING IT FUCKING WANTS- IT ISSUES ITS OWN MONEY FOR CHRISSAKES. If it wants to tax back some later fine, BUT IT ISSUES IT'S OWN MONEY THAT THE WHOLE WORLD USES, THEREFORE IT SHOULD NEVER ACT LIKE "but how we gonna afford it!?!" because that's insane. It will afford it by DECIDING TO ISSUE MORE CURRENCY FROM THE FEDERAL MINT OR GET IT FROM THE FEDERAL RESERVE. Meaning there is NOTHING keeping the fed gov from ending poverty TODAY and paying for everything we need other than brain-dead, ignorant, uneducated, corrupt politicians who work got corrupt interests that want to keep the lower class fucked up and poor because that means they're easier to take advantage of by the major capitalist interests. Also, Bec yes there is a wrong perception among the ruling interests that increased social welfare spending will lead to increased taxes which is NOT the case (not that we shouldn't tax at the top, we definitely should, just not because the gov "needs" that money to fund public programs, obviously it doesn't- cuz it makes its own money in the first place!); and their greed is so profound and infinite that even if they have billions they say hell no to more taxes, and tell the politicians they own to always vote no on any public spending bills (never on huge tax cuts bills or Defense Dept bills of course!). Bottom line, due to MMT AND SIMPLE COMMON SENSE, there is no moral or rational excuse for the federal government to allow poverty, lack and decay to occur within these borders. Period. All that could have been addressed and spent on decades ago, and if some of the more intelligent elected officials want to tax back a small portion of that (hopefully only from the top), later on to supposedly limit any possible excessive inflation (which sooner or later is going to happen anyways, inflation that is, and it will not be a problem; we always manage), so be it; BUT THESE PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN ORDERED AND BEEN ONGOING SINCE FOREVER AGO. The ultimate truth is the hyper-elite is a sadist- and it WANTS us poor, Bec they see that as leaving more for them. So they come up with lies, like "runaway inflation" and the nonsense about the deficit to convince the less knowing of us that govt SHOULDN'T spend the proper amount needed to serve we the people's needs, and so we go without and we suffer or lose out; but curiously, THIS HORRIFIC SPECTRE OF FRIGHT- INFLATION- IS NEVER A CONCERN WHEN IT COMES TO GIVING A BLANK CHECK TO THE PENTAGON OR THE TRILLIONS OF CORPORATE HANDOUTS THAT HAVE HAPPENED SINCE EVER!! Now doesn't that make you think a little bit??
