@kempiro right. Exactly. I wish people would calm down on AOC. We're all being hysterical. This is just one vote. I'm not saying don't be tough on her, but we have to keep the big picture in our sights. Also life experience and job experience counts for a lot and she doesn't have much of either yet. Politics in the US are a joke and she's surrounded by 99% either thugs or paid for operators. Dealing with those politician crazies and scumbags on the Hill takes a particular form of skill and toughness that I imagine she's still learning.

@MrGrimlocksmash Trump was behind it ofc but he had a good 4-5 key helpers/co-conspirators who controlled the events leading up to that day. His helpers included the December, last minute appointed acting unapproved SecDef and his assistant SecDef, and I believe the CP boss and possibly his immediate CP underling. Also, I don't know if the most senior ground commander of the NG on scene that day was in on it but I think it very strange that he was willing to hold his people back for THREE HOURS after knowing the active attack was underway, official permission and proper paperwork be damned. I mean motherf8cking loves are on the line and he did nothing until he had "official" permission from Pence. And what- if it never came would he just have sat there all night just letting the crazies run wild until the Marines showed up???? Sounds like whoever it was he was a collaborator but so far zero investigation of the criminal compliance of key WH personnel has been accomplished and it's been nine fucking months. I don't expect any to be forthcoming and that's exactly what the GOP leadership wants of course.

@wizzalamaru8794 nah nah she is only 30! She might be in office for another 40 years, or not, but give her a chance. She's still learning and it's hard to be perfect and always stand up to all the craven experienced dinosaurs like Schumer and Pelosi who have been at this forever. I didn't even start having a political consciousness until around 30, and AOC already took on an experience shitDem by then and won. That is amazing to me. She addresses a crowd of 10,000 like no problem, I've never even addressed a classroom. You need to have more patience with her and cut her some slack. She'll get better. Progessives are such a minority in Congress anyways their power unfortunately is minimal. The ShitDems easily dismiss them. We need higher numbers in order to have more influence on the floor, and that won't happen overnight.

Can't we just goddamn cut the war-making budget by 50%??? Nothing less should be acceptable. Out ENTIRE Congress is for hire. Until that changes, nothing will change. Hopefully AOC will resolve to stand stronger in the future. If you're going to have any decency, you've GOT to have an iron spine in this game, bec otherwise the DNC will try to eat you for breakfast with their corn flakes.
