I just hope they get taken care of eventually, because these monsters in the VA at the top can't even do that unless they're injuries are visible. Tbf, they are offering better PTSD resources then before, but they are literally STILL rejecting vets who were poisoned by toxic exposure, just like they did for gulf war vets in the '90s. how these people sleep at night is a galactic-level phenomena that will never be understood. I was at one time in a branch of service, then I got out, learned a hell of a lot and now I see these people in DC for exactly who they are; disgusting psychopaths who serve their big business corporate masters and no one else. Party affiliation doesn't matter. They wouldn't even take care of the 9/11 responders until they were publicly exposed as the ghouls and monsters they are and then they grudgingly released the funds for it. And this is what kids are signing up to fight and die for. Sad. People need to wake up to the evilness and the violeness of who these people really are- who the US government really IS; not what some bogus State-sponsored propaganda piece says they are; and take a glance at their crimes against humanity around the world for the last 80 years, longer if you count domestic agendas. But deprogramming your brain from a lifetime of heavy propaganda is no easy task, so I can understand how some people struggle with it or still haven't been able to break away from it yet. Aside from from all that, Brianna's commentary was just dumb and it was no doubt written specifically by CNN's new (or maybe not so new) conservative overlords.

It violates the sacred rights of bodily autonomy to which government has no right to infringe on with rare exception of mass outbreak like under COVID.

As a far left Socialist/civil libertarian they have nothing to offer me. I mean if they're simply reporting on a non-controversial incident like the weather that's fine but their overall agenda is and will always be more corporate rule of America no matter this harm causes to the bottom half in this country. And not even the bottom half anymore. After the '08 crisis there were people of fairly high income who also suddenly found themselves in a situation that they never foresaw for themselves. But predatory unregulated capitalism spares no one and when you own the government like big business and 1% class does down here, you face no consequences. Scam artists like Barry O will bail you out while leaving average homeowners high and dry as usual. Our entire government is a joke. I'm now so far Left because I feel like my eyes are so far open that I'm in the burn it down crowd. A system this far gone in broad terms in my opinion cannot be reformed. So what that means for us on the Left down here can be a number of things. For me it's to work hard towards the creation and viability of a hard Left "left Unity" third party here based on simple, ethical, common sense principles of economic justice, civil freedom, and protection of the natural world, AKA eco-socialism. And if we can't vote our way out of this then fine. There are other things we can do. One thing's for certain, if you want to take action against a given system which sets no rules on itself only for you, you have to be willing to be as dirty and ruthless towards them as they are prepared to be against you. Once you've made that decision as I know I have, then you're ready to move forward.

  14. As a far Leftist I couldn't agree more but unfortunately in the US the corporate Democrats are hardly much better. They just put a prettier face on their corruption and their worthlessness and they collaborate rampantly with the GOP behind the scenes to pretty much f*ck the rest of us. I suppose for the time being the lesser of the two evils is still lesser, technically, but how much longer should we be satisfied with that? Only a far Left party that represents the interests of average people is one that deserves my vote going forward. There are other parties in the US but sadly the hand-in-hand BFF corporate duopoly effectively suppresses them on every level. it's not going to be easy getting around this going forward while building up any socialist parties, but if we care about our future and want to be politically active I see no other option.
