  1. Regarding 06:38 It's terrible what happened in India under British rule, and of course to my knowledge there's been no even token apology or reparations attempted at being made. One thing I don't quite understand that I'm open to learning more about is why Indian authorities didn't just expel the British forces?? I mean you've let these people put down an anchor and grow their numbers for 100 years and you never once thought about uniting your citizenry and killing them all or expelling them? I ask myself the same question about South America at the time of Spanish contact and the ensuing hundred years. I just don't get it I really don't and to this day I struggle to understand how they could have been allowed to grow and metastasize to a point where now they had real influence and control. And even then, at any point literally they were still grossly outnumbered- so at any point if any halfway cohesive military campaign got itself together either in South America or in India the colonizers would have been quickly beaten. And for the life of me to this day it's just hard for me to understand why this never happened... Unless they loved living under the boot of colonialism so much .. which I find hard to believe. I'm sure they had their internal politics but seriously, you can't put those aside for five minutes when you're under a collective outside threat? And look what happened as a result. It's just something that's been hard for me to understand. If people don't like being colonized and I don't think anyone does, then FIGHT GODDAMMIT!!! I can understand losing to a force that has superior arms or significantly superior numbers, but even if the Indian continent didn't have guns at time of contact I'm sure it wouldn't have been too hard to get some within the 50 years after- I'm sure they had opportunities for arms trade. And then ... Organize right?? I mean surely they had only about 250M to 500M people to mobilize from.. So that's one aspect of history I just don't quite understand. I also wonder if official apologies and honest attempts at reparations will ever be given by any European power, or the UK. Hell or the US here towards our indigenous groups. Yeah right. I highly doubt that. I'll believe it when I see it. Political scum up top in the West feel entitled to take what they want at anytime, this attitude still prevails, they don't feel any moral obligation to acknowledge past crimes of aggression. To them it's simply 'might makes right'. "Boo hoo sucks to be you, law of the jungle baby" is pretty much their attitude. So here we are. Will the vast fortunes and precious objects liquidated from these previously colonized territories ever be repatriated? I'll only believe it when I see it.
