You sound like a pretty trash person yourself. Star Trek was about everyone being valued equally. If you're bigoted filth why do you watch the show in the first place??
2
Anyone who can look himself in the mirror and use the word woke in seriousness as a pejorative should exit the gene pool without delay out of shame Capiche???
2
Oh look a shameless fascist speaks! Aren't we lucky?

Right here silly

I love it when scumbag giant corps get huge tax breaks for existing. Because if one knows anything they're certainly hurting for money. And that money certainly trickles down to all of their line workers. Not like said line workers have to periodically go on strike just to get a portion of what they justly deserve. Maybe just maybe we would have enough money to fix all of our social issues if we taxed these amoral big businesses for a change instead of giving them non-stop sloppy fe77atio instead. We have so much wealth in this state and yet so much unnecessary lack and underprivilege. Just amazing. The entire political class just doesn't gaf. Doesn't matter which party they're all in the pocket of the 1%. They're all trash. Can't even get fair rules in the legal weed industry...just stunning. Absolutely EVERYTHING has to go to the 1% and already big business - nobody else deserves genitals. All of our material issues could be fixed tomorrow by simply taxing the big business and 1% class. But why do that?? Better soak the poor and middle class instead and keep cutting essential services from the bottom half. That's much more rational.

I actually would have preferred more continuity in TNG but I understand why they did it the way they did. A few story lines would have benefited well from being flushed out over a partial or whole season arc imo. I don't need things to be consistently perfect not to be able to enjoy the optimistic overall Rosy vision of the future. More long-term storylines and more indepth explanation for some plot points would have been great but it was still a fantastic adventure for this 80s kid.
2
That was hellaciously well done. Never again did TNG add do anything ostensibly gross. I actually wish they did because it was pretty darn well done and freaked me out too. ๐
2
You watched Picard twice?? Wow .. ... That is one hell of a pain tolerance. I deeply salute you. I could not have managed such a sacrifice.
2
It has many positives. I don't love it but it feels fairly well done. I think I want to give it a strong B.

I'd say the TOS films were at least memorable.... Most having iconic or memorable moments.... For whatever reason the TNG films really stumbled.... I agree that Nemesis was the weakest but they all were mediocre at best, although to this day I'll still watch all of them if given the chance because hey, they're still fun. But yes for some reason that I haven't been able to fully put my finger on the TNG film franchise always felt much weaker to me than the TOS films. There's just something about that ragtag original cast group...

If alcohol exists in the future why not drugs? there's literally nothing wrong with drugs unless they take over your life. Just like with anything really. Control and moderation is key.
1
How so?? (I'm sure I'm going to love this)

โย @billjacobs521ย yeah fr. I always thought that part wasn't fully thought out.
1
The animated series from the 90s? ๐
1
Lol this will never be canon it to me

To be fair Discovery has its moments and I thought the fifth and final season was pretty strong. Are you sure you're just not being ignorant because Discovery has a minority lead?
1
SNW has some weaknesses but yes it's fun and satisfying. Still for me it's like "teens in space" and as an older fan it just doesn't fully satisfy.

Honestly I am sure not even that far in the future with an accelerated and efficient curriculum, that higher math can't be taught to average or better students. If a child is specifically slow I imagine that they would be taught appropriately for what they could comfortably handle but I would think, for the average student in a future more idealized classroom where every student doesn't have to fight for attention in overcrowded classrooms or deal with the fact they didn't eat breakfast that morning in underfunded school districts, because everybody today is morally depraved and doesn't care about anybody else besides their sorry filthy selves, I wouldn't see why it would be beyond the realm of possibility. I bet there are fairly effective ways to simplify certain math concepts so a fair amount of younger students could grasp them. I honestly don't see why this can't be done today. Oce more fundamental concepts were mastered and if they were taught in a simple enough fashion I don't see why 10-12 year olds wouldn't be able to smoothly move up to some of the higher concepts.

โย @elbowspeakย XD wild when that happens

Why do people love musical episodes they're literally the gayest thing ever I mean the cringe god help me. I'm not retarded enough to love that weird shit. Agree with your analogy tho. Very accurate

Says the guy who's too cowardly to admit he's a MAGA fascist
1
Lol. Liberals are such weak trash though. Historically they've always bent over and spread 'em for organized fascist power instead of standing up for the liberation of all groups. Just come out as a bigoted fuckass. Stop hemming and hawing pretending to be something you're not, I think you'll feel better.

I actually liked a lot of Enterprise....
1
Why punish ourselves with that?
1
I had a lot of issues with BSG but they did a lot well. Many many strong moments.
1
Lol, nice one ๐

I actually thought 1 had great potential but was severely undercooked. Literally looked and felt like a rough draft. I feel with a fair amount of extra work it could have been strong
1
It is SO corny xD..but I love it lolol
1
Yeah agree lol, that was unfair to Worf. I think given everything he had been through, the pressures on him and the skills he personally possessed, he did a pretty fine job and about as good as could be expected.
1
Everything changes. There's a lot of flaws with the new stuff but there are some high points too. Give it a chance. Try to appreciate it independently. I don't think I'll be watching Picard however.
