All this nonsense could change with better laws by electing leftists but unfortunately in this country the red/blue criminal duopoly maintains a real good chokehold on the political process and most of the electorate is pretty dumb and likes to vote against themselves every time. But better laws could definitely change all of this quickly and for the better.

Just fyi, I totally understand you about worrying about paying for food and it's ridiculous in this country that this is still a problem but worst case scenario there are food stamps. We even used to have a semi respectable welfare system in this country until they shredded it in 1996. Of course we all would rather be self-sustaining on a respectable income but shit happens. Besides, UBI should be a thing, esp in an age where nobody wants to pay anyone well anymore unless you're in a very fortunate position.

@cajonesalt0191 force laws to change. Get politically organized. Get out of the red/blue bullshit duopoly. Go socialist or commie like me. Demand high minimum wage laws and better Labor protection laws. We can put them on the ballot we don't even need to wait for these worthless politicians. That's our way out. It isn't easy but it's possible. Questions?

Everything in life should NOT be a pyramid scheme. That's why I'm very proud to be a flaming communist. I'm not against profit, I'm just about profit being so extreme that the bottom 80% are getting shafted. Seriously we can do better than this. Universal prosperity is the only acceptable economic value to have and it's one that could be easily achievable TODAY if there was political will. So who's with me? Come ON.. It's bizarre we have an entire government set up to protect the extreme elitism, greed, and sociopathy- or at best, stunning lack of awareness- of a tiny would-be hyper-elite at the expense of I would say probably at least the bottom 60%. Idk, I say it's time to have a more communistic society that values everyone and rewards everyone well. All right well let's just overthrow the shitty bogus government that's been around for the last 200 some years and establish one that is more in line with our awesome based enlightened views. I mean can't be that hard right? But yeah, surely we can finally fix this shit in my lifetime. If we can't crash the whole system perhaps we can politically organize and pass some very important prime mover measures through the public ballot. I've got a whole host ready to go. Something major needs to change because we are all in neo-feudalism and neo-slavery now and it's bogus! There's no reason why everyone can't live comfortably. There's more than enough to go around that much is a fact.
