She's for herself, I think that's the one thing now that's abundantly clear. You can't be a real Progessive or SocDem or other leftist without having a genuine desire to improve the lives of others AND to be against predatory, immoral, or unjust intervention in other nations on basic principle. It's clear now she didn't care about either of those, just wanted to rise on the political ladder. She just wants power for herself. I imagine she'll be coming out as a Republican any day now and I'm sure she'll be back in the future to try again. I'll be honest it was awesome seeing her smackdown Kamala in the debates, though it didn't end up changing anything in the final results; unfortunately, while that scored points with me as I know full well who Kamala really is, I'm sure that had little to do with the inherent injustice of the issue to Toolsi than with trying to score points against any leading rival.
I'm mildly curious what her field specialty was while she was in the service. It doesn't matter but I'm a vet too and I'm just curious. I was just enlisted though and I moved on after eight years and I'm glad I did. There a LOT of good people in the military who think they're making all these sacrifices for a noble purpose and the very very sad fact is, they aren't though. They could be, but they aren't. We AREN'T going around liberating and rescuing people, nations or communities- I wish we were but we aren't.
Most won't realize this or question the ultimate structure of the US govs foreign involvements until they're out however, unless they've seen combat first-hand like many Iraq and Afghanistan vets have.

@thomasgriffin2326 um Kay... but what does that have to do with what she stands for, or in her case doesn't stand for?? Politics is about the issues, how someone looks is irrelevant. She is indeed conventionally attractive, and Sinema is cute, but the more I see Tulsis actual value system come to the foreg and it becomes clear she was never genuinely Progessive or SocDem or anything Left, the less outwardly attractive to me she is becoming. It's clear her principles, whatever they are are totally fluid, and she'll espouse any talking point that she feels will connect her to an audience and get her a seat at the table. I guess I can't blame her, that's what almost all of them do, but if she's not a committed Leftist, even though she tried to falsely portray herself as one for a minute, then I can discount her and move on.
A beautiful person can stab a knife into you just the same as an old or unattractive person can. Politics isn't a dating game. It's about ideas, values, and policies.
Maybe you already know all that but js. Let's not get distracted by his someone looks and focus on their words, actions, and policies.

@achimwokeschtla7582 thanks for this breakdown! That's sounds so rational. Yeah I don't know why things are so retarded here. Not a lot of things on a gov level (let alone a policy level) make sense here, the more I learn about them.
Having a normal multi-party parliamentary system should not be a pipe dream! Isn't that what every other first world nation uses?? It's the only rational way to have an at least semi-representative government.
Is RCV used where you live?? Now that would be a helpful voting method to lead to a better result than simply more bogus FPTP methodology.
Is open bribery (it's not called that here officially but that's exactly what it is) and paid lobbying and limitless "donations" allowed in Germany?? Because that's literally what 95% of the federal and a good portion of the State govs run on here. [I won't say everything depends on a big-money interest, industry, or organized lobby being behind it; but most matters that get taken up and discussed and put into bills (or blocked from becoming bills), along of course with details that that benefit that particular corporate interest or industry, do.]
Our so-called "democracy" really is shit here. "Most advanced nation"?? Ehh, idk- not politically for sure.
250M voting age adults, half who don't vote (some for good reason I'm sure), with zero choice other than two corporate and Pentagon-owned parties, one just a lot more openly racist and fascistic than the other. What a shithole system for real, jeesus.
