  2. I understand it's not the point of this video but I would be remiss if I didn't say, Open the fucking BORDERS goddamnit. I say that to DC as well. I see no reason not to have an open and passable border with Mexico. Until NATO and DC stops causing violence all over the world, migrants will never stop coming, it's an inescapable result, and they don't deserve to be brutalized and demonized for wanting to survive. Pretty sure we'd do no less in their shoes. (Why do I suddenly have the feeling after saying that, that a million xenophobes just cried out in anguish - and were silenced.....) I am an open borders mfkr. I mean why not????? People need help. All people want is a chance. It's not their fault what has happened in their home countries but it IS Washington's fault - because it always is.

Because they're always up to bullshit. Perhaps they're doing unkind things to the homeless. Perhaps you're pissed your county doesn't have universal public voting on all issues. Perhaps your local Pigs are getting away typical scandalous bullshit. Perhaps your local rent isn't controlled - most isbt. Start local. GOVT SHOULD BE DONE BY ALL OF US.... NOT THE FEW. Remember that. It's takes lawsuits, organization, meetups, and time. You should look up your local PSL chapter. Then make a list of shit that goes on in your county that pisses you off. Then decide how to respond. Are you comfortable talking in public??? It's not hard, it just takes focus. Perhaps you should run for local office yourself. As Leftists we have a long road ahead of us but it will start at a local level. All grassroots movements do.
