My goodness that is such a sweet story. That man is a sweetheart and now he has a little friend for life, lol. All he needs now is a tiny squirrel-size door to let himself in and out. 😄

Wow such heroes. Way to ring the year in with a bang. It was so touching how he had a companion who wouldn't leave him.... <Sniff> Animals can have feelings and form bonds too and don't believe anyone when they say they cant.
11
@sparkist95 if I'm paying my hard earned money to rent, I deserve a say in the rules. Or they can find someone else who will be a slave without resistance.

There are some very evil people out there. It's scary and unfortunate. Hopefully this person gets his karma back to him in full.
5
@lightup6751 but you have to at times that's the point. This animal clearly was being neglected if not abused. He needed to be removed. Animals as livestock on farms is a completely separate issue.
4
@mcats8 if a dog is properly cared for while living outside that's one thing. But that wasn't the case here.
4
Wow what a nice story! 🥰🥰🥰 Man how come I can't come along when any of these little buddies need help?

God bless you!!! Thank you for getting involved. That person doesn't deserve to have a pet. Leaving a pet out in cold or hot weather, without proper shelter or food or water is a abuse!! Thank you for saving him! I'm glad you were able to get him out of there. Hopefully he hasn't gotten any new animals since. I just don't understand why people get animals only to neglect or abuse them!!!! If you don't want them, don't get them!!!!
3
@BijinMCMXC whatever gets the dog away safely from that situation is the right move. In this case the ends justify the means.
3
@anahabat8210 that's what I worry about too.
3
@christopherv3048 to save a suffering animal??? Sure why not?
3
@cathycola3499 good for you! ✋
3
@isabellefrey6221 we can only hope not
3
@ambrr_lily it's possible but in this case it looked like the problem had been going on for a while. And I don't think this woman was going to be in the area that long. In this case it's better just to take the dog. It doesn't look like those people will ever be able to properly care for that dog. Now he is healthy and happy and going to a family who can love him.

Watching Bob sprint outside and run up sideways on the screen door like spider-man was hilarious. Squirrels are so funny

@fretbuzz59 you're right. Some pet owners are pretty sorry. But isn't that what pet deposits are for? I don't agree with pet rent but a reasonable refundable deposit is fair.
2
@fretbuzz59 with a reasonable refundable deposit, you're goddamn right I'm entitled. A pet is necessary for my sanity and quality of life. Don't you think the it's landlord's responsibility to maintain their property?? What are they doing with all that rent!?!? So you don't think landlords should be forced to pay anything is that how you feel??? It should be the law that all pets must be accepted, but a LL has the right to request an additional refundable deposit if they wish, provided it's not excessive.
2
@Boba_Fett1980 then don't be a landlord or demand a pet deposit. I agree some pet owners should do better but animals are part of our lives. Will you tell them not to have children too????
2
@JokingSteak tables I can understand. But couches, no. Pets have the right to join you on the couch and if you loved them nobody would have to tell you this, you would do it naturally. You would want them to sit with you. Clearly you don't really love your pets, you just enjoy having them as fluffy accessories.
2
@JokingSteak lol you obviously don't at all love your pets if you place inanimate objects above them. Yuck so many unloving, dead inside pet owners out there. If you don't know how to love DONT GET A PET! Why is this so hard for you people to understand?
2
@isabellefrey6221 I'm not sure. I'd have to watch the video again.
2
@BijinMCMXC I would probably try under the right circumstances. Reporting doesn't always help.

Thank you so much for rescuing this dog. These dogs need help the most. I hate to think what made them this way but now thank goodness they will only know happiness. 💞💕

Animals can be amazing! Let no one doubt their ability to feel love or kindness.
1
I have a black house panther too! They are the best! Thank you so much for saving him. I bet he'll be the best friend you ever had. It's so nice to see him fully fed and chubby right now. Sometimes things work out of the nick of time don't they? I hope he lives a very long cat life. And if you're really feeling the love, you can get him a companion and they'll be each other's best friends for life and yours! 😃
1
Wait- how did he even get out there????
1
@fretbuzz59 that's called being a landlord you entitled besh
1
@fretbuzz59 not if they jack up rent, not if they prevent pets, not if they slumlord. Not if they are abusive or irresponsible. If they are responsible and charge fairly and don't try to prevent pet ownership then I don't have an issue, otherwise yes. I do.
1
@coratico298 exactly. Like this is just common fucking sense. Tenant can be held liable for any pet damage, but it's immoral to prevent them from having one (or several).
1
@usandutz I can see you have no soul. Carry on.
1
@peterwhitey4992 you múst be a landlord. You filth are greedy and shameless. You're entitled elitist FILTH who feel entitled to extort tenants for outrageous sums while never or rarely maintaining the property and using every scam in the book to get out of paying for ANYTHING. Landlords are truly some of the worst filth humanity has to offer. If rent isn't low, if pets aren't allowed, if tenants don't have "misfortune protections", if deposits are excessive or not returned, if landlords are abusive or overbearing, or if evictions are undertaken for unjust reasons, the tenant is being screwed. News flash - the tenant is almost ALWAYS being screwed in the US and that needs to stop. See you in the courts. We WILL get the law on our side, no matter what it takes.

What a heartbreaking but beautiful story. Don't you wish more people would care? Those people who just said it's not my problem and drove off I mean, I understand we all have things we need to do, but all they had to do was help her get the crate into her car, what the actual fuck?? Not give her a kidney. Some people are so selfish.
1
This gentleman is now the proud owner of an indoor-outdoor squirrel.
1
@sparkist95 they still shouldn't have had a ban. A reasonable pet deposit should have been enough. Only petty selfish people who have never loved an animal uses pet bans. Most landlords are trash. You shouldn't suck their d-ck.
1
@sparkist95 actually the government should set the price. Landlords should have NO right to control the price of rent. It's an obvious conflict of interest. But corporate lobbyists have been able to buy off the worthless politicians for generations so you filth have been able to have it all your way- which is outrageous and won't last forever so enjoy it while you can. Change is coming sooner or later. You filth will get beat down to where you belong - and you won't be able to r4p3 the hell out of tenants' bank accounts and slumlord anymore.
1
God bless her for getting involved. I hate people that keep their dogs on a chain or line. It's wrong. Doing it temporarily is fine but it's abuse to leave it attached 24/7. It's just wrong. People think dogs can't suffer or don't have feelings and that's just not true at all! God bless her for taking action!
1
Let's hope the monster that abused Betty White gets his in full one day. Isn't it sad that evil people exist? It's pretty sad.
1
@MrDLYouTube dude stfu. She would be long gone by then. Who cares if it's stealing?!?!? In this case that doesn't matter.. Asking is sometimes a good idea, but not in cases like this. What matters is saving an abused animal- nothing else. Lol calm down you little law-lover. Laws aka Rules aren't always right and don't always apply. They often need to be flouted for the greater good. LEARN TO DO THE RIGHT THING no matter what. That owner clearly didn't care for the dog or couldn't care for him. Ergo, they had no right to keep him. Same as with children. You have to do what's in the best wishes of the child or the animal- the owner's wishes be damned!!! They don't get a say anymore! Capice? That's how it needs to be. What's more important?? Giving the abusive owner (or parent?) a say, or helping an abused animal (or child) that cannot help itself??? Should an abused animal or child be left in abusive home if the abusive guardian or owner says "no"? Of course not. Taking an animal (or child if necessary) is the right thing to do. "laws" be damned.

@BijinMCMXC I probably would if there seemed no better option. Hopefully wouldn't get shot over it tho.
