@lightup6751 but you have to at times that's the point. This animal clearly was being neglected if not abused. He needed to be removed. Animals as livestock on farms is a completely separate issue.

@mcats8 if a dog is properly cared for while living outside that's one thing. But that wasn't the case here.

God bless you!!! Thank you for getting involved. That person doesn't deserve to have a pet. Leaving a pet out in cold or hot weather, without proper shelter or food or water is a abuse!! Thank you for saving him! I'm glad you were able to get him out of there. Hopefully he hasn't gotten any new animals since. I just don't understand why people get animals only to neglect or abuse them!!!! If you don't want them, don't get them!!!!

@BijinMCMXC whatever gets the dog away safely from that situation is the right move. In this case the ends justify the means.

@anahabat8210 that's what I worry about too.

@christopherv3048 to save a suffering animal??? Sure why not?

@cathycola3499 good for you! ✋

@isabellefrey6221 we can only hope not

@ambrr_lily it's possible but in this case it looked like the problem had been going on for a while. And I don't think this woman was going to be in the area that long. In this case it's better just to take the dog. It doesn't look like those people will ever be able to properly care for that dog. Now he is healthy and happy and going to a family who can love him.

@isabellefrey6221 I'm not sure. I'd have to watch the video again.

@BijinMCMXC I would probably try under the right circumstances. Reporting doesn't always help.

God bless her for getting involved. I hate people that keep their dogs on a chain or line. It's wrong. Doing it temporarily is fine but it's abuse to leave it attached 24/7. It's just wrong. People think dogs can't suffer or don't have feelings and that's just not true at all! God bless her for taking action!

@MrDLYouTube dude stfu. She would be long gone by then. Who cares if it's stealing?!?!? In this case that doesn't matter.. Asking is sometimes a good idea, but not in cases like this. What matters is saving an abused animal- nothing else. Lol calm down you little law-lover. Laws aka Rules aren't always right and don't always apply. They often need to be flouted for the greater good. LEARN TO DO THE RIGHT THING no matter what. That owner clearly didn't care for the dog or couldn't care for him. Ergo, they had no right to keep him. Same as with children. You have to do what's in the best wishes of the child or the animal- the owner's wishes be damned!!! They don't get a say anymore! Capice? That's how it needs to be. What's more important?? Giving the abusive owner (or parent?) a say, or helping an abused animal (or child) that cannot help itself??? Should an abused animal or child be left in abusive home if the abusive guardian or owner says "no"? Of course not. Taking an animal (or child if necessary) is the right thing to do. "laws" be damned.

@BijinMCMXC I probably would if there seemed no better option. Hopefully wouldn't get shot over it tho.
