@JH-lf4ql A state that recognizes three types of citizens and has a separate set of laws for each is not a democracy.

It is practically impossible to explain anything with YouTube's automated censorship

Free Palestine means "let's turn this type of state into a democracy".

@JH-lf4ql To get an idea of how it all started, find first hand testimony in "they fought for l in 1948 n. Expand l into the name of the country and n into the word for catastrophy.

@JH-lf4ql In relation to the testimony video: it has not gotten better since, they behave in exactly the same manner today, they only have better gear.

@JH-lf4ql Another try: please search for the words ocha and casualties to find some useful statistics that will allow you to determine who have been the violent ones.

I am sorry for the double posts. If I do not see my own message in incognito mode after I post I assume it got banned by YouTube and I retry with different and less negative wording. Now it appears some of the initially suppressed ones appeared after all and got upvotes so must have been seen by someone else. I have grown quite paranoid over YouTube's AI lately.

About condemning Hamas: please note all we really know is they breached a fence in multiple places and took some hostages back home. Everything else is unclear and was fed to us by a party that has been lying ever since, faster than investigative journalists can debunk. They won't let outsiders visit and look for themselves and talk to people. What we do get to hear from soldiers and survivors suggests most people were killed by the panic response with tanks and helicopters rather than by the fence breachers. I read the 2017 charter the other day. It's only a limited number of pages, it won't take you half an hour. Apart from the many references to their religion which sound odd to me as an atheist, I found their analysis and goals quite reasonable. So no, I can't say I condemn Hamas at this point. With what I know that would be silly.

@helo6172 He sounded sincere to me, seemed really interested. So I engaged. I got the impression he had an open mind. I am imagining him binge watching videos on Muslim Central, AJ+ and Middle East Eye now. Ah, well, a guy can dream.

@JH-lf4ql "given their history of violence" Do me and yourself a favor and look up "OCHA casualties" to find a UN page with statistics until October 7th. Then reconsider who have been the violent ones. A state that has three sets of laws for its citizens, of which only one group can vote, is not a democracy, that's an apartheid state. Finally (I don't want to overload you), look up "They fought for Israel in 1948 nakba" to find testimony from the people who started this. Spoiler: it has not got better since, the IDF today is behaving in the same manner, they only have better weapons.

@JH-lf4ql To get an idea of how it all started, look up "They fought for l$r@3I in 1948 nakba" to find first hand testimony. Spoiler: it has not got better since, their behavior today is the same, they only have better gear.

@dandycat2204 It may look that way but people at the other side of the spectrum are complaining too. I have come to believe that anything potentially controversial is suppressed. To us that is critisism towards l$r@3I but to others it may be liberal bashing. Just using "negative words", even apolitical, may trigger it.
