  1. True. It's a uniform. And it has always been like that. Hippies, rockers, reggae culture (from which this heavily borrows), punk, goth, all safe havens for people who just want to blend in. It is the very opposite of free expression.

  2. Without this channel I would have been blissfully oblivious about these people's existence. The internet has a space for everyone. The good thing about it is that subcultures can co-exist without being aware of eachother. The internet has made the world bigger for many yet created lots of small asylums for likeminded people. Zooming in on the latter kind of defeats their purpose.
