  1. They are woke alright. You're not? I guess misogyny is stronger than racism. I don't know the specifics of the pay dispute and I doubt you do. So they are payed (a little) more than the men's team? Perhaps because they became world champions four times and I was kind of surprised to learn the US had a male soccer team at all because they are nowhere on the world stage? I can imagine they would be disgruntled over being paid about the same as that apparently existing male soccer team. Let's face it, this has nothing to do with the pay dispute or even political stance, it is all about the blue hair and the winning lesbian, a concept the right cannot process. They took the opportunity to hate some more on LGBTQ and poke up their culture war some more, that's all there's to it.
