  1. This is all meaningless. Demand is there already, they're just too expensive which will change very quickly. The early adopters now have an electric car, the masses will follow as prices get to a normal level. And they will ultimately be cheaper because the cars are simpler and easier to produce. The number of charging spots is growing too. This will not age well, it is like claiming the internet is just a fad some 30 years ago or it will collapse soon or online shopping is only for nerds. It is a new industry, progress is jerky but the direction is clear.
