That was agonizing. A whole lot of words to avoid addressing the ongoing, massive irreversible death and destruction unleashed by the IDF on 2 million people in Gaza. And then the casual audacity of blaming Arafat for the lack of a two state solution. Utterly appaling.

@jefferytokarsky1930 It was far more than right to return that sabotaged the deal. Right to return alone was not unreasonable (this was dismissed on racist grounds by Israel) but they added a lot more conditions that basically meant that Israel would keep military control over the scattered pieces of land they were willing to "give up". There is a Wikipedia page on it (2000 Camp David Summit). It starts by stating there never was a report on any proposal so it is not easy to determine what exactly was (not) agreed on and continues to sum up the undisputed facts. Just reading it makes it clear to me the Israelis were never serious about it and did everything to provoke a rejection from the other side.
