  1. What a load of bull. Recognizable sound and gear are unrelated. Greg Koch put it nicely in one of his videos where he is talking to a crowd on a music fair: "You can spend a lot of money on gear but know it makes only 1% of your tone. If it ain't here (raises his hands, spreading his fingers, wiggling them a bit), it's not gonna happen".
