  1. The sht they have been and are doing is so bad, this possibly planned incident is actually helping them clean up their image. It grabs all the attention for days, builds this idea of "oh, so sorry, this is not like us, it was a mistake, look at us pulling the responsible soldiers from their jobs, this tells you we care".
