  3. 60 times more powerful than solar. That is 12 times the total energy input being produced as output power. In fact, it must be a lot more considering the shiny surface of those things. They seem to reflect most of the input. Suppose it will still capture 10% of the light, that makes 120 times the energy input converted to electricity. That sounds dangerous, they 'd better be careful with those things. The DOD may be interested though.

  4. I don't believe the "pressure" not being effected. I expect the stiffness of the tire to severely deviate with temperature. In hot weather the "spokes" will be softer. I also expect them to get hot just by driving and absorb more energy than air tires. And develop cracks over time, breaking before the run surface wears out. Once some spokes are out, you will get severe bonking and need immediate replacement. The more I think about this, the more problems pop up. This is just a gimmick.
