  3. I was and still am suspicious towards Isteal's role and influence in this but that may just be me. What may play a role is that Sweden is a very emancipated society which is particularly sensitive to harrasment from men against women. You don't make sexist jokes there, they are serious about it. This may have tipped the scales.
