  1. This process has even been automated these days. Try to post a comment on CNN's YouTube channel that goes against the grain and it will be instantly deleted. Once the algorithm figured out it doesn't like you it will delete anything you post with that particular video, without telling you. If your comment does seemingly persist, it may still not be shown to others. I am not talking about YouTube removing or deprecating comments that are flagged or get downvotes in order to maximize "engagement". This is bad enough. On CNN there appears to be a whole extra level to this.
