Just vanity at work here, a guy having trouble dealing with the fact that the general public lost interest in what he has to say. He is craving for attention. I watched a couple of his videos and found them to be more about image than substance. He is typically situated in a room filled with fans, cult leader light stuff, and then makes some meaningless point and gets credit for it from his followers. If you try to do that in public you will likely have some ego issues with the responses.
