  1. I see room for improvement. So VIM makes all the navigation keys redundant (Home, End, arrow keys and the comfort of all combinations with Shift and Ctrl we all have automated in our systems). Now why not reduce it a bit more to like a single row of keys? Let's take the bottom row (zxcv...). Hitting z once will change the meaning of the key we hit next to that in the next row up. Typing z two times takes us up two rows, et cetetera. If we want a z, we hit Esc first (which is z and x together, conveniently close). If I only had this enhancement, I can already feel my productivity sky-rocket!
