  2. This is one of very rare times we see a report from someone who actually talked to Hamas leadership, giving us something more than the abstract label that has been so convenient to the west. You can see the panic in Cooper's eyes when he realizes this is going "off the rais" and he quickly pulls back in the leading western narrative of terrorism. God forbid we learn anything beyond "Hamas=terrorism".

  3. ​ @pas3607 Yes, they actually did spend it on infrastructure and anytime this yielded some economic development Israel destroyed the infrastructure. Abd the west was like "oh, well... not good, we guess?"
