  1. I respected him for having a spine in the republican party but this is just awful. His plea against authoritarianism is absolutely incredible combined with his plea for unconditional support for Israel. "It's a messy process". No shit, Sherlock? You would say running an extermination camp is a messy process? Better send them more money and bombs because I bet it's expensive too. Back to authoritarianism. Pretend there are no Palestinians for a moment and there is no apartheid (like you already do but let me come along for the ride). The Netanyahu government has just "reformed" the jurisdictional branch, effectively in a way that makes it so it no longer has a say over whatever comes out of the Knesset. That is, it broke down the separation of powers. This is authoritarianim 1.01. The Trump way! And yet you claim to be anti-authorianism and want to send more money to this state that has moved into the dark place your fellow republicans want to move into, that you resisted at home. Chutzpah!
