It is not hard. Those people regard murdering up to 2 million people, who had nothing to do with the event, in response to the murder of about one thousand settlers and 400 soldiers unjustified. Those people are also aware of the history and the context, international law and they have "empathy". Look it up if you need to.

@golddmane Read and process before commenting please. Israel should end apartheid and leave occupied territories. Get serious about a practical solution. All they have done so far is ignore international law and grow more cruel, because we let them.

@John-dh1od A one state solution, a plain democracy, would be better but probably impractical to achieve.

No, it's more like a convenient talking point for those committing war crimes, as a distraction from their behavior.

The land of Israel started in 1948. Lots of people have lived in that area through the ages. None of it is relevant to what is happening there now.

After 75 years of Israeli and US propaganda, a 20+ fold Palestinian deaths and injured over Israeli deaths and wounded, the establishment of a cruel apartheid state, the best an American news network can come up with is to blame an Israeli-created militant resistance group of trying to control the narrative. Great journalism folks.

@golddmane The PLO was such a party. Israel sidelined it, murdered its leader and enabled Hamas to become the more dominant representing party. They consistently sabotaged every peace initiative since I can remember. "Within the borders of Israel there is no apartheid" means nothing while Israel controls the Palestinian territories and imposes its military rule on its inhabitants. In effect it is one country ruled by one party, the Israeli government.

@KennethMosheshe-ru6od That should just about cover for the damages.

@saritshomrat919 None of that matters. Lots of people have lived there.

@HDracer It is not up to us.

@LD86 Read up on it, any economic activity is destroyed by Israel. They cannot have a harbor, airport or trade goods with neighboring countries. It is a concentration camp.

@HDracer A lot of parties would have to agree on that which makes it an unlikely outcome but if they can, who would I be to oppose it?

The political agenda of the ones choosing the words.

The baby and rape stories are BS, just made up to get people angry and distract from the fact this was indeed an act of resistance to a greater evil. People stood up to the Nazis, killed German soldiers and traitors among their own. They got streets named after them. The Nazis called them terrorists. There is no arguing he is fighting an oppressive and cruel occupier. His operation got a little out of hand, civilians got killed, not good. Civilians get killed on the west bank on a daily basis. Also not good. We can talk about Hamas till the cows come home, it is a product of the Israeli apartheid state (quite literally actually), the problem is the apartheid state, not whatever resistance it spawns.
