  3. @Logan-py8we I mean it doesn't add up. I know there's a part of the American population for whom the country isn't working an will never work. Some of them just want to burn it down so it won't work for anyone anymore. Understood. Others of them are stupid enough to believe that swapping out the current government with republicans would make their lives better somehow rather than worse. And then there were those who did see the signs but figured they could sit it out and "conservative values" were important to uphold. You've seen that all at work in 2016. Since, more and more people have snapped out of it and republicans have suffered loss after loss. I don't see many people go "with what I know now compared to what I knew in 2016, let's give those republicans another shot". Nor are new and younger voters leaning republican, they are leaning democrat. So it doesn't make sense. Alright, first time voters may still have to register (this was among registered voters), the democratic campaign hasn't started yet and all the attention went to republicans over the last couple of weeks. But even then it doesn't add up. And I am more of a cat person anyway.
