That sounds sensible. In a perfect world. Fact is that not white heterosexual males are underrepresented in many workplaces and government positions. This has historic reasons (women stayed at home, non-heterosexual people did not exist). If you don't stimulate this to change, it will likely stay that way. People tend to pull up their own kind. It is exactly for this type of thing you have government. The SC thwarting these policies does not seem helpful to me.
