The whole Mars endeavor was a big red flag for me. But I do give him credit for creating Tesla. The company is probably highly over valued and the cars have issues but he did boost the development of electric cars also by other companies which was long overdue. The sad thing is any mistake he makes now has enormous consequences because of the scale of his operations. His unconventional approach brought him success and is now destroying him. He is being devoured by his own success (and his childish behavior, that too).

@k.rochie8752 It is fair to say he created Tesla when you compare the Tesla he bought to the current Tesla. The man may be an idiot in a number of regards, we can still acknowledge he achieved a lot for the world.
