@delsinmcgrath882 😂😂😂😂 So you're just going to write lies and then pass it off as truth? Looool. Can't even take you jokers seriously. He did deserve the title shot against Jan because that was a LHW fight and a Champ Vs Champ fight genius. That was Jan's first defence, so it's not as if he had been a reigning champion prior to the fight. Secondly, he beat Whittaker 48-47 and also beat Romero. Nice try though bud.

@Moor_Fish You're dealing with fools that will always try to wash away the accomplishments of fighters like Adesanya. Same thing they do with Usman, Jones, Sterling, Woodley etc.
5
@delsinmcgrath882 "All these underserved title shot." Name one title shot that Adesanya has had which was undeserved. I'll be waiting for the answer.

@coreywho2972 Written like a true fool.

@michaelwong6050 You seem to have an obsession with Adesanya. Did he hurt your feelings?
3
@yomommashaus "Dricus made those comments because of the shit talking he was getting." No. Dricus made those comments first from his own volition to cause chaos and provoke the African champions that came before him. Don't try and victimise him now.

@michaelwong6050 You do bud. Your entire comment history evidences that, even going back months. It's ok, it's to be expected with you folk. Furthermore, Adesanya has looked great in all his fights besides the Strickland fight. He looked great against Cannonier in which he won it 50-45/49-46, he won three rounds against Pereira in their first fight and controlled that entire fight until he lost in the last round. He looked great in the rematch, won the first round and then KO'd Pereira in the second. As for your nonsense drivel about him having to fight Chimaev, what has Chimaev done in the Middleweight division to deserve getting a fight against Adesanya? He is yet to beat a ranked Middleweight and is sitting all the way at no.9. He can go and fight Vettori or if Jared is generous enough, maybe he can give him a chance. You can lie all you want though Wong, makes no difference to me.

His style is exactly what benefits Adesanya.

@DynastyIcon They magically don't care about big fights and PPV when the star is Adesanya. If McGregor had lost ten fights in a row, they would still tune in to see him fight for a title, just like they did with their other poster boy Covington.
1
You should already know that Du Plessis will not fight at 300. He will come up with another reason to push the fight back against Adesanya.

@Howsnoah5 The real African that descends from French-Huguenots, answers a French name and speaks a Dutch vernacular language. "Real African" indeed. Lmfao.
1
When you're fighting b rate fighters in EFC and bricklayers in KSW, it's pretty easy to accomplish such a stat.
1
@matsutendai Afrikaans is not an African language. It's a language that derives from Dutch vernacular, a European language. Stop proudly displaying your ignorance. He also answers a French surname, descends from French-Huguenots and practices Afrikaaner culture which is not African. Stop it and get help.
1
@stealthyturtles All white Americans are European genius. Some of them literally only came to the USA 150 years ago. Do you struggle to differentiate between nationality and ethnicity? Du Plessis is a South African and African by nationality but he is NOT an African by ethnicity. That's exactly what @ruslanshavkatov is trying to tell you. If a black person is born in Poland to two Nigerian parents, he's simply a Polish national. He is not a native Pole. Same situation with Du Plessis.

@justinkennedy3004 Leon is a Jamaican man representing the UK and Chimaev is a Chechen Russian representing Sweden. Anymore?

@Clint_RSA You're a disingenuous individual. Where Ngannou, Usman and Adesanya reside and train doesn't change the fact that they're African champions. They came from countries (Cameroon and Nigeria) that haven't and still don't have any MMA infrastructure, whereas South Africa, the most developed and wealthiest country in Africa has had thriving MMA infrastructure for over a decade. Evidently Du Plessis would be able to make a career from there. If he grew up in any other African nation like the others did, he would've had to migrate to make professional. It is incredibly disingenuous and evasive of you to leave out this key information.
1
@matsutendai Sharing words with another language doesn't make it an African language big brain. Haitian Creole shares some words with French, it doesn't make it French. Even some West African languages share some words with English and French. Doesn't make them European languages. Afrikaans is a language that derives from the Europeans that migrated to South Africa. It's by origin a European language that was further developed when they settled in SA.
1
@Clint_RSA The irony. Imagine lacking reading comprehension like this to the point where you consciously ignore valid point presented to force your own narrative and argument. Do yourself a favour, take your own advice and go back and read my comment several times over until it registers in your head.
1
@Clint_RSA Leon Edwards is a naturalised British citizen. That doesn't change his ethnic identity and original nationality and cultural heritage. He is still a Jamaican and will always be one. Secondly, I know this might sound like a crazy concept to your little 🧠 but a person can be a dual-national. Crazy concept, right?
1
@Clint_RSA If you could read perhaps you would've realised that I've made it clear that there has already been three African champions and their adopted nationalities doesn't change that. The opinion of a European like yourself will never have any meaning when it pertains on who's African and who isn't.
1
@Clint_RSA Aw little victim can't handle the truth so he resorts to weak accusations of racism to assume some faux moral high ground. We both know who the real Africans are and it's certainly not the French-Huguenot bubba
1
Lopez is the reason for Francis' success in MMA, not Nicksick you glory hunter. Don't ever try that.
1
@ShaighJosephson Utter nonsense comment.
1
Lol, no it isn't.

30-0 kickboxing champion in AMATEUR kickboxing. Don't forget that information, boy.

@2ZZGE100 I'm not a Strickland fan bud
