  1. Japan's and Korean popualtions are aging and have a negative growth rate. The solution is a combination of increasing the birthrate and more immigration immigration. It is cery difficult to increase the birth rate substantially. Hence the logical solution is to encourage people who will easily merge with the Japanese and Korean populations population without creating to much problems in the society. Japan has a religious background which is Shinto or Buddhist. Similarly Korea has a considerable Buddhist influence. i 1. Increase the birth rate which is rather difficult and by itself cannot solve the problem. 2. Hence greater reliance has to be placed on immigration of people from China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar. These people have a similar ethnic, religious and cultural background and so will easily adapt themselves in Japan. The govts of Japan and Korea myst actively encourage immigration of people from these countries.
