@R7m_frz it is not some people. The Ayatollah of Iran is to the Shia muslims what the Pope is to the Catholics. The Ayatollah is the Supreme leader of Iran. The laws of Iran are Islamic laws which are approved by a 22 member supreme council which invludes 6 Muslim clerics. It is they who have approved the Hijab laws and all other Islamic Sharia laws. They have appointed an Islamic morality police to enforce these laws. In many other Myslin countries the situation is similar. Hence please do not try to mislead innocent Christians.

There are Mullahs, qadis, ayatollahs, muezzin, maulvi etc. They lead the prayers in the Mosque, perform marriages and interpret Islamic Shariah laws. Muslim countries follow Islamic Shariah laws. Non mudlims coubtries follow secular laws. Islamic Sharia laws discriminate against women and non muslims. Another peculisr thing in Islam is that it allows a Muslim to keep 4 wives and he is promised 72 virgins on zannat. Also non muslims cannot go to zannat.

At the time of Muhammad Egypt ,Libya , Tunisia, Algeria, Morrocco, Turkey etc where Christian majority areas and were part of tge Roman empire. Iran was a Zoroastrian vountry. If you read history you will learn that Muslim armies invaded and conquered these countries and and forcibly converted tge people to Islam.
