  1. The World is in mourning on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Pakistan and Taliban are celebrating. They had helped the Al Qaeda to plan and organise the attacks on 9/11. Later al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was hiding in Pakistan for 6 years before the Americans found him. The world thinks he was an evil person and a terrorist. For Pakistan and the Taliban he is a hero and a martyr. Taliban could not have conquered Afghanistan without the help of the Pakistan Army. It trained the Taliban, gave it weapons and sent its forty thousand of its own soldiers and officers disguised as Taliban. Pakistan Army has lost many officers and soldiers during the last 3 months when fighting in Afghanistsn disguised as Taliban fighters. The killed are 7 officers, 12 JCOs and over 75 soldiers. The total number could be much more. Deaths are being kept secret from the Pakistan public. The families have been given huge compensation ammounts. The number of wounded are 5 officers, 9 JCOs and over 150 soldiers. They are being treated secretly in the Military Hospitals at Peshawar, Quetta and Swat. Names of two officers killed in the Panjshir vslley are Maj. Aijaj and Capt. Jufar were killed in the fighting at Panjshir valley. Many soldiers were also killed but actual numbers are not known because fighting is still going on and many bodies have not been recovered.
