  16. I probably don't understand what you mean. The number on a coin is the value of that coin. Just like the number on a US note is the value of the US note. Imagine that there were no numbers on US notes, how then can someone know what the value of that note is?

  19. Not every place in the USA has drinkable tap water. I was in Rio Rancho near Albuquerque and there you need to filter the tap water. The unfiltered tap water doesn't make you sick but it doesn't taste very good, you need to filter it first.

Of course different phonewords can result in the same number amtrak and bmtrbk result in the same number but remembering amtrak is easy and remembering bmtrbk is very hard. I am not an American but I do understand the idea. You need of course a phone that shows ABC immediately above or beneath the number 1 and DEF near number 2 . It is an idea from before the mobile cell phones. So BE corresponds with number 12 but CE also corresponds with number 12.

  26. Coke has such a dominant taste. Can you still taste the food when you drink coke? My mother did put a lot of effort into cooking (she is an excellent cook), therefore I wasn't allowed to drink coke when I ate her food.

  32. The West is addicted to sugar. Okay, I generalize but when I returned to the Netherlands after travelling in East Asia I found everything too sweet in my own country. Sadly now I am again totally into all the sweet stuff, it is so addictive. I always loose weight when I am in Asia.

  34. I also prefer my soda or sparkling water without ice. In the plane to the US I asked "I want without ice a coke". If you ask for "I want a coke without ice" then you are already too late because they immediately throw lots of ice into your glass when they hear the word coke, it is really a trigger word for them.

  38. No, people in other countries don't feel the fear for China that you feel and the Chinese can do and already do automation too. Some Americans fear that Chinese economy will become bigger than Americans economy but people from for example Germany don't care about that. The USA can block trade with China but you should not expect that other countries will join. And isn't it great for mankind that poverty is rapidly decreasing in China? I think it is. I wish the same will happen in Africa and India. I don't fear a more wealthy China, Africa and India.
